I have a 75 Pacer with the 3 speed column shift with electronic overdrive for sale. Located in eastern Oregon. $1500.00
Car has been a daily driver for it's entire life so it is far from perfect but the body
is straight and it has very little rust (a bit on the back wheel wells and that's it). It does have around 260,000 miles on the body but the engine (258 I6) was overhauled about 10,000 miles ago.
Interior is in decent shape. The drivers seat has a few tears in the vinyl but all the other upholstry is complete and un damaged. Most of the interior plastic is in decent shape as well. The door panels are cracked and the previous owner drilled holes for speakers in them but they are complete. Carpet is complete and has a few spots here and there but no major damage. dashboard is unwarped and complete with dashmat cover.
The manual steering rack was rebuilt when the engine was overhauled and new ball joints and tie rods were installed at the begining of this year.
The rear differential was also replaced/rebuilt about a year ago with one from a cherokee.
However the car being ~40 years old it does have some issues. The speed control switch for the OD doesn't work but there is a manual overide switch that was installed on the dashboard so the overdrive does work if needed.
The engine leaks oil from the valve cover, some days it's better than others.
The climate control switch is finicky and sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.
The passenger door sags a bit and has to be closed with a bit of force.
The front of the hood is crunched in a bit on the top when a deer was hit a couple years ago. (I do have a replacement hood on the parts car, and the rest of the frame is straight)
There are many new parts on the engine and I do have all the maintainance
records going back to 2009.
All in all the car runs and drives and the plates are current. I've driven it on the freeway almost monthly and it's always gotten me where I need to go I just need something a bit more cost effective for daily driving so it's time to let it go. I'd hate to scrap it out because it's the perfect canidate for a complete restoration but I don't have the time or the resourses to do so.
I also have a 76 pacer parts car that I am willing to throw in with it but it doesn't run and hasn't been registered since the early 90's but there are a few good parts left on it.
PM me if you have questions and I can send more info and pictures if interested.
