I am looking for an AMC Pacer in good to excellent condition. I have been looking for a while and it seems none ever pop up near the Hamilton area. I also will accept a Gremlin or Ford Pinto, but a Pacer is my first choice. If you have one or know someone who might want to sell their car, please let me know. Must be in Canada so that it will be easier for me to drive and pick it up. A running one is mandatory as I will be driving her home - or at least running with a few small on scene repairs. Anywhere in Canada is fine, I will drive for her many miles as I have wanted one for YEARS!
The reason I want a Pacer so bad is when I was six years old I was hit by a car - it was a Pacer! I still remember to this day the shape of the hood and lights glistening in the summer sun just before the impact. It seemed everything slowed down to a crawl. I didn't get hurt to bad, but to this day I have had a desire to get one of my very own. My wife says I am crazy, but oh well. I still want one!
So, anyone that can help me out please feel free to send me an e-mail. The car once purchased will be mine until the day I die, so it will be in good hands. I plane to restore her to her original state. Thanks in advance and I hope to here from someone soon!
