i have just pulled the engine out of my 76 amc pacer. Its a 1976 4.2L Straight Six. Runs like a champ, only has about 50 000 original miles on it. The block had started to split at one of the seems, causing it to leak coolant but i repaired it and have driven it with the repair for about 4 or 5 years so theres no worry about it at all. single barrel carb is easily upgraded to a 2bbl or swap on a 4.0 head. This would also make an awesome engine for anyone looking to stroke out there 4.0L jeep to a 4.5L all you need to swap is the crank and rods. Im gonna start the bidding at 400 obo bucks and see how it goes, whats one of these engines usually go for? i dont really NEED to sell it and wouldnt mind having it kick around for some spare parts anyways since im putting in another 258 into the car (factory crate with a 4.0 head) and a link to the mill purrrrring like a kitten the video might be choppy, play it twice to clear it up www.zippyvideos.com/6329345305528776/pacer_007/
