Facts or Common Issues/Problems for Pacers

Hello!

I am a Pacer driver and would like to know of any facts or common issues/problems [electrical, transmission, etc.] that have occurred with the pacers 75-80 that many may not know.

The door bushings are known to wear out since the door weighs (my did) 98 lbs.. The steering rack is known to leak easily,, hard to find a repair kit or rebuilder.. Plastic interior is known to crack too... good engines and trasnm OK too.

Do you know if rusting in the license plate area is a common thing for Pacers and why is that?
